S S Marie Wedding
Posted by Rob on Aug 10, 2009 in Wedding Photography | 1 commentIt rained for most of the day. The couple, Sarah and Chad, exchanged vows under the shelter of the Roberta Bondar pavillion, away from the wet skies.
We headed right out for some shots on the ss marie water front and got about ten minutes in when the rain started again. So, on the bus, headed up to the reception area, at searchmount skihill.
What a beautiful spot! The sun came out (for a while), then a rainbow, then at night, while torches were lighting the dark, the skies cleared, the bugs stayed away, and so did the wind. Chad and Sarah had their first dance outside in what was perfect conditions!

really beautiful photos rob, can’t even try to pick my favourite…although the umbrella shots are awesome. if this is what your rain weddings look like, i don’t think any bride would worry if it rains on her wedding day!
