Classic exec portrait…

June 29, 2013

Back in the day many, many studios used a classic brown backdrop for many portraits….babies, children, families and executive portraits….I recently photographed Floyd Laughren for his portrait to hang up at Laurentian University….

problem was, all the other images there were in this brown…and no one uses that much anymore….no worries I thought…thanks to some of the strategies in CS6 I can cut out and replace…how cool is that….

Downtown Tamarindo…..having lunch.

January 18, 2017 By robprov Leave a Comment

Having lunch, hanging around downtown, Tamarindo, Costa Rica. There isn’t much in downtown Tamarindo….some restaurants, shops and  souvenirs. Tina and I love having lunch at the smaller, local run restaurants. Always good, casado being one of our favorite meals…. Here’s the view from our table. That lady on the left stopped and showed us some […]

I see many ideas and strategies for professional portraits these days. It’s almost as if the sky is the limit and so is ones imagination. Why not?! But I do appreciate a straight up head and shoulder pose…classic……
