Fire shoot on the beach…

March 7, 2016

In Tamarindo, Costa Rica we see these guys putting on amazing fire shows all the time. I always thought it would be a great idea to play with fire, so to speak, and do a photoshoot.

Problem is, they only speak spanish. That’s been my issue so far. However, recently I was walking into town, and caught up to two dudes who I knew were fire guys. And they spoke english…yeaaa. I was able to ask them and we set it up.

Here are a few shots from the session we did with the people from PyroDanza…

Executive portraits for realtors in and around Sudbury

June 7, 2011 By robprov 2 Comments

Your professional portrait should be up to date, relaxed and revealing (revealing your personality:)…). Friendly, so to speak. Not corny (holding a phone), not like your passport image (which is what happens when you get your spouse to grab a shot at home against the kitchen wall…yeesshhh!!) and above all, professional. Oh, did I mention […]

Weddings in Sudbury are back….Michelle&Matt

July 7, 2022 By robprov Leave a Comment

Nice to see full sized weddings make a return. After more than two years and many pop up weddings in and around Sudbury that Tina officiated and I photographed, it was a breath of fresh air to see a larger crowd. Here’s a few samples, Michelle and Matt, at Natura Catering & Event

Newborn session tips

April 19, 2020 By robprov 2 Comments

For best results in newborn photography bring your baby in within the first two weeks of their arrival. The first week is even better. Do what you can. Newborn sessions can be challenging. They can take up to 3 hours, however, most take about two hours. Some key points: Relax. Babies can pick up on […]

Driftwood on the beach….makes cool art…

January 27, 2017 By robprov Leave a Comment

Seems to me dift wood has been used by many for art, furniture, frames, tables and such. It certainly creates some cool photos. Walking on the beach, taking photos, in Tamarindo, Costa Rica with Tina, always camera in hand, stopped and sat on some dried beach wood….and took a few random snaps…. Rob
