Ashleigh & Will decided to rough it for their wedding. They’re from the Toronto area and wanted something unique and, well, rustic. So they settled on the French River, at The Lodge at Pine Cove.
This place was perfect. They were offered the chance to have all their guests boated over to an island about a mile down the river. It took a few return trips on the pontoon boat but everyone enjoyed the ride down the French River.

The island was amazing. No buildings, no modern amenities. Just pure nature.

I’ve photographed many weddings at many, many cool locations in my day. And I have to say, the French River Lodge at Pine Cove experience ranks as of the coolest.
