How high can you throw your baby?

April 27, 2020

Throwing babies up in the air and/or flipping them upside down is not something I take lightly.

Safety. Always play it safe. Of course, this should be obvious. Let me put it this way: “What would parents do with their babies at home?”

If the baby is young, newborn, we snuggle, hold and admire them endlessly.

Newborns are fragile. I don’t use any poses that might put them at risk. Above is an example of new babies in their natural element…sleeping.
Same here…we love looking into our babies’s eyes. This creates a wonderful pose!
This little baby was not able to sit up on her own. What you don’t see, because I removed it, is dad’s hand and arm holding her up.
Older kids love, love being thrown in the air. This would be something Dad does at home….
One of my fave poses, older kids upside down. Look at those smiles!

My number one tip for great photos…

April 4, 2017 By robprov Leave a Comment

Friends in photography, Last fall I hiked out to the old abandoned Burwash prison farm with my daughter. That place has been abandoned for over 40 years. Old, dangerous, decrepit…. My kind of place. That images in this post are a small sampling from the hundreds of images I captured. SEE my facebook album HERE […]

Mother, daughter, and the whole fam out in the snow…

They’ve lived in South Africa….their roots are the UK (cool accents!) and they live in Sudbury….and wanted some family portraits, which I took using the window light and outside in the snow. (apparently snow is a novelty to their friends back home…..not for us it isn’t…and it makes a great backdrop…enjoy…Rob

They came in with their little boy…..who didn’t really want to “dress up”, but kids can be that way. We got many cool poses and created a one of a kind album….see sample album layouts below….
